IHG Hotels & Resorts has partnered with meeting technology company Weframe at select properties across Europe to offer enhanced technology for hosting virtual and hybrid meetings. The technology will be available at 18 IHG hotels in Germany and six Hotels in Benelux, with more properties to be added in future.
Cycas Hospitality has opened the first Courtyard by Marriott hotel in Central London and the closest hotel to London City Airport. Just five minutes’ walk from the airport check-in area, the 184-room property has three interactive meeting rooms, an on-property Starbucks coffee and a Grab and Go market.
A new hospitality concept, The Other House, is launching in London’s South Kensington in Spring 2022. The ‘Residents’ Club’ concept promises to disrupt the traditional sectors of hotels, serviced apartments and private rentals by positioning itself as a second home for short or long stay guests, with a restaurant and bar, fitness studio, spa treatments and a members’ club.
Sarah Wilson, CEO of Ace Travel ATG UK, has been selected as a finalist for three awards at the 2021 Institute of Directors (IOD) East of England Director of the Year Awards. She has been nominated as Director of the Year in the Innovation, Social Value and Sustainability Impact, and Small – Medium Business categories. Winners will be announced on January 7 at the Radisson Stansted Hotel.
