Finnair will implement continuous pricing on its website and mobile App as well as NDC-enabled channels for agent partners, starting early this year. It says through continuous pricing, customers will “not experience large price increases between booking classes as pricing is not tied to the 26 legacy price points, resulting in more competitive pricing in modern channels”.
CHOOSE, the Norway-based climate tech company that helps organisations integrate climate action into their customer experiences, has announced a $15 million funding round backed by climate tech-focused investors. The round was co-led by GenZero, a decarbonisation-focused investment company wholly owned by Singapore-headquartered investment company Temasek, and SOUNDWaves, a sustainability-focused investment vehicle founded by Ashton Kutcher and Guy Oseary. Existing investors also participated, including Shell Ventures and Vinyl Capital. Other existing investors include Amadeus IT Group and Contrarian VC.
Kent Hendricks has been appointed the new EMEA Business Development Director for World Travel Protection, the travel risk management company owned by Zurich Insurance Group. He is responsible for leading the strategic growth of World Travel Protection in EMEA and raising awareness of its full-service travel risk management solution to the travelling business community. Hendricks has led the development of products, digitalisation, distribution channels and strategies for many multinational corporations including GE Capital, RSA, CHUBB, Kuehne + Nagel, MDS Group.
