Etihad Airways has taken delivery of its first Airbus A321LR, part of the airline’s fleet expansion strategy. The state-of-the-art aircraft features a three-cabin configuration, including Etihad’s first-ever narrowbody First Suites. It brings Etihad’s signature widebody experience to short and medium-haul routes, delivering levels of comfort typically reserved for long-haul journeys. A standout feature is its high-speed Wi-Fi powered by Viasat’s advanced technology allowing passengers to enjoy seamless streaming, gaming and browsing throughout their journey. It’s the first of 30 A321LRs scheduled to join the fleet.

It aims to protect people from global security and health threats, with around 13,000 security, medical, logistics and digital experts on stand-by. International SOS is a security, health and wellbeing risk management company with 28 assistance centres around the world, providing support and assistance 24/7 from over 1,200 locations in 90 countries and in over 110 different languages and dialects.

easyHotel Paddington has undergone a £1 million refurbishment, with 47 refreshed rooms, new reception area and low-carbon features throughout. In bedrooms, environmentally conscious low-VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) materials were used in the vinyl flooring and wall coverings alongside natural pine furniture. The hotel will reduce annual CO2 output by approximately 10,018 kg – equivalent to planting 460 trees per year. The reduction is supported by low-carbon improvements including an upgraded air conditioning system and complete LED lighting, which will reduce power consumption by 23.8% and 77.1% respectively. Switching from gas to electric heating has reduced CO2 emissions by 70.1%.
