News in brief: CTM, Focus, and more

Here’s a round-up of other business travel news:

Corporate Travel Management (CTM) has signed a principal partnership with the London Broncos, a professional rugby league team, and will join the club as its front of shirt partner for the next two seasons. As part of the partnership, CTM’s specialist sport travel services will be promoted at games and within the club’s business community.

The Focus Travel Partnership has signed a preferred partnership agreement with Element, specialists in travel technology, advisory and support services to TMCs. The agreement will provide technology, including booking tools, expense management systems, and automation services, to the 60 TMCs currently within the consortium.

Hyatt Hotels has launched ‘The Great Relocate,’ a new fixed price, long-term stay package driven by the emerging ‘work from anywhere’ trend. The rate is available for stays longer than 29 nights up until December 31 2021 and launches this week across Europe and Southwest Asia.

Partnership Travel Consulting has appointedtwo industry veterans to its management team. Bob Brindley, most recently Vice President and Global Head of Consulting for TripActions, becomes Senior Vice President – Global Supplier Engagements. Neil Blaauboer, who was Executive Vice President, Client Management at HRG North America from 2017 to 2020, becomes Senior Vice President – Client Solutions.
