British Airways has begun trialling the IATA Travel Pass digital Covid app on flights from London Heathrow to Geneva and Zurich. It said VeriFLY, the app it was already trialling with partner American Airlines, will continue to evolve as BA works with testing suppliers to automatically upload results into the app and enable online check-in once documents are verified.
Healix International has appointed CEO Mike Webb as Chairman. Charlie Butcher, currently Commercial Director, has been promoted to CEO. Webb, who was CEO for four years, will continue to be actively involved in the company’s ongoing activity.
The Westbury Mayfair London, a Luxury Collection Hotel, is to undergo a major refurbishment starting in July. The redevelopment will see a reduction in its current rooms from 225 to 196 five-star-plus rooms and suites, including open plan bathrooms, new cabinetry, furniture and fixtures. Front of house facilities will include restaurants, bars, lounges, conference and function rooms and a new spa.
