News briefs: Wilde Aparthotels, Acai Travel and Accor

Wilde Aparthotels will unveil three new properties this year in Lisbon, Vienna and Cambridge. Wilde Aparthotels, Cambridge City Centre will be within walking distance of the River Cam and Cambridge’s iconic park and will have 229 apartments that “blend modern aesthetics with nods to the city’s rich academic heritage and British charm”. The aparthotel also boasts a bar with an outdoor terrace, co-working space, and a café serving nourishing breakfasts alongside an all-day menu showcasing local produce.

Australian TMC Platinum Travel Group, member of the Link Travel Group, has announced a new partnership with Acai Travel which provides AI technology to make travel operations more efficient. Acai Travel’s AI Agents claims to reduce repetitive workload for agents by up to 70% and accelerating response times by 50%. The partnership marks a milestone in Acai’s global expansion, with new partnerships soon to be announced across North America, Australia and Europe.

Accor is developing a digital meetings and events ecosystem uniting over 5,600 Accor hotels and resorts worldwide, featuring an inventory of 2.5 million sqm of event space and 800,000+ guestrooms. A global website will be available as a pre-launch version in late 2025, with initial functionality for sales teams connected to Salesforce and online booking for small accommodation groups of up to 30 guestrooms. In early 2026, a more comprehensive suite of features will be introduced, including online booking for meeting rooms and residential seminars, guestrooms and meeting rooms, as well as connectivity to external channels.
