Travelodge has opened a new hotel at London Bromley Mall. The 59-bedroom hotel showcases the group’s “most significant brand transformation to date”. Guests staying at the London Bromley Town Centre Travelodge can find a redesigned reception, as well as rooms with an ensuite shower, TV with freeview and USB desk and bedside charging points. Sustainable features include LED lighting throughout and green roofs to encourage biodiversity. The hotel also has an Energy Performance Certificate rating of B.
Native Manchester has expanded its offering with 28 new rooms, including a new double room category. There are now 14 new one-bedroom apartments and 14 double rooms, which are available to book for £99 per night. Double rooms have been introduced to meet a growing demand for short stays, where guests are seeking “a stylish and comfortable place to sleep without the need for self-catering facilities”. The new rooms, which make up phase one of the expansion, were designed by the original architects Archer Humphreys. Phase two of the expansion will see additional rooms slated for the end of March 2025.
Vietnam Airlines has chosen network planning and optimisation technology from Sabre to support its global expansion. The flag carrier has recently introduced routes to the US, Germany, India, Italy and the Philippines. It is also exploring destinations across Europe, the US, Canada, Australia and Asia. Sabre’s technology includes Fleet Manager to match capacity and aircraft type with demand; Profit Manager to accurately forecast and maximise network profitability; Network Manager to achieve hub optimisation and enhance codeshare planning and Schedule Manager to deliver revenue-driven schedules across its network.
