Saudia has opened a new lounge at London Heathrow Airport, Terminal 4 for First and Business Class guests, as well the airline’s Alfursan Gold frequent flyer members. Guests can eat from an international buffet, with a private VIP area offering à la carte dining and personalised butler service. Additional features include a bespoke London Tea Exchange experience, luxury showers with Urban Apothecary amenities, prayer rooms, a quiet zone and fully-equipped workspaces.

Peter Scarr has joined independent travel management company ACE Travel ATG UK as Head of Sales. He was previously EVP of Global Sales for Take2Eton Group which he joined three years ago and has also worked for Clyde Travel Management, American Express GBT ans HRG.

Katie Garrahy has joined Wood as Global Travel Manager. She joins from SilverDoor where she was Vice President of Business Development and before that Head of Sales at Roomzzz Aparthotels. Garrahy will report into Danny Cockton, VP Global Travel Services, and she will be responsible for overseeing global suppliers and operational delivery.
