News briefs: Identity, Perk, Kayak for Business, Take2Eton, Sabre

Identity Travel, the experience-led travel management company, is now offering its clients the capability of booking and managing business travel directly through AI assistants including ChatGPT, Claude and Microsoft Copilot. The solution is thanks to new business travel technology powered by Vibe Systems. Clients can book business travel by simply saying what they need and the system does the translating. The capability works as a bridge between the AI assistant a traveller is already using and Identity Travel’s Vibe powered booking platform, built on the Model Context Protocol.

Perk has launched Entry Ready, an integrated workflow for eVisa and Electronic Travel Authorisations (ETA) payments for work travel. Available now to all Perk customers, it offers over 60 eVisas and ETAs available through a partnership with Sherpa, an AI-native visa solutions platform. Perk’s visa partner Sherpa combines AI with over 350 government relationships, to update entry requirements before any other provider 92% of the time, with applications processed 20% faster than applying directly through a government portal.

KAYAK for Business has announced three new AI capabilities integrated directly into its planning and booking experience, helping travellers build compliant itineraries, get instant answers and manage trips through natural conversation. Travellers can use natural language to quickly create complete, policy-aware bookable itineraries that reflect company preferences, travel policies and office locations. They can get answers, find itineraries and modify trips through conversational AI and if requests require additional support, conversations transition seamlessly to a human travel agent with the trip context and chat history already attached. Meanwhile, agent-to-agent connector organisations can connect their own enterprise AI assistants directly with KAYAK for Business.
