Aethos has made its UK debut with the acquisition of Nobu Hotel London Shoreditch. Now called Aethos London Shoreditch (pictured), the reimagined 164-room lifestyle hotel and members’ club will offer “vibrant culinary concepts, wellbeing and community-driven hospitality”. Located in the heart of East London, members can gain access to lounges, private meeting areas and a social calendar that “mirrors the creative spirit of Shoreditch”. The property will feature a boutique spa focussed on holistic wellbeing and a longevity-centred training studio.
David Forder has been promoted to the newly-created role of Marketing Director at The Advantage Travel Partnership. Previously Head of Marketing, Forder will take on a more strategic focus, leading brand development, digital transformation, customer insights and the partnership’s multi-channel marketing strategies. He will collaborate closely with Advantage’s senior leadership team to align the group’s initiatives with its evolving vision and continued brand amplification.
Wings Global Travel has named Karen Janssen as Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead its global technology programme. Janssen will be responsible for tech strategy and operations, infrastructure and customer experience for the TMC’s London HQ and its operations in Europe, the US, Latin America, Africa and APAC. She joins Wings with more than two decades of experience as a travel industry technology leader, most recently as Global CIO of Corporate Travel Management (CTM) and before that as Head of IT Service Operations in Brisbane, Australia-based Flight Centre Travel Group.

All Nippon Airways has opened the ANA Suite Express in the domestic departure lobby at Haneda Airport. The new facility, which is located in Terminal 2, grants Diamond Service members access to a dedicated security checkpoint with advanced screening technology. Members can now access the ANA Suite Lounge without removing laptops or liquids from their luggage.
Sean Sullivan has been named Vice President of Business Development for Take2Eton‘s US team. His most recent role was Director of Business Development at CTM, in which he was responsible for leading new business across the US’s Northeast region. Based in Boston, Sullivan will be now focus on driving Take2Eton’s North American sales efforts. He will report to Chief Commercial Officer Shelley Matthews and collaborate with Chairman Chris Thelen. He will also work closely with Travis Felt, SVP of North America Client Solutions.
The Chancery Rosewood is now accepting reservations for stays starting from September 1 2025. The 144-suite Grade II listed property encompasses “rich history with contemporary luxury”. Facilities include eight restaurants and bars, including the first European outpost of New York’s Carbone and a new Asian concept eatery, as well as Eagle Bar on the seventh floor; a ballroom hidden beneath the property with the capacity for 750 guests; Asaya Spa with a fitness centre, 25-metre indoor swimming pool, five treatment rooms and additional meeting and event spaces. Luxury retail spaces are to be announced.
