360 Consulting by Greengage has launched a series of pre-recorded online sustainability training courses.
Courses will cover multiple topics and are designed to help professionals speak more confidently about sustainability, as well as providing a grounding to help them become sustainability leaders.
The approach is practical rather than academic, helping participants understand key concepts like carbon footprints and net zero without unnecessary jargon.
Topics include: Environmental Overview – a foundation in sustainability knowledge, Sustainability & Business Travel – the environmental impact of business travel and how to reduce it and Sustainability for Events – guidance on running more sustainable events.
Led by 360 Consulting Director, Sam Cande, additional courses will be added regularly to keep pace with industry developments.
Learning will be reinforced with the use of interactive quizzes and participants can complete the pre-recorded episodes at their own pace.
A library will include other practical downloadable resources such as a guide on writing sustainable business travel policy, understanding environmental phraseology and how to work from home sustainably.
They cost £50 per course, per person and typically take an hour to complete. Once completed, participants will receive a Greengage certificate.
Sam Cande, Director of 360 Consulting, said: “These courses are designed for people who may feel unsure or underprepared when sustainability topics come up in meetings, client discussions or internal conversations about carbon reduction and net zero goals. With these courses we’re giving people the tools and confidence to do just that in a way that fits around their schedule.”
