New division for Business First Partnership 

Business First Partnership has launched a new meetings and events division, Events by BFP.

It will focus on managing all event logistics on behalf of the TMC’s clients, including sourcing venues, managing group air travel and booking accommodation. Activities such as meetings, conferences, incentive trips and banqueting will be co-ordinated.

The meetings and events division will join the Business Travel Partnership’s leisure division for corporate travellers, which was rolled out in January.

Events by BFP will offer varying levels of support based on a three-tier structure. At the lowest level, it will help clients select suitable venues and liaise directly with suppliers on their behalf to manage the booking. At the highest level, a full event management service will be provided, with dedicated onsite event support.

Nigel Taylor, CEO of Business First Partnership, said: “Through our network of partnerships with suppliers across the world, we will be able to provide personal recommendations and secure the best corporate or delegate rates to ensure all our clients’ needs are met.

“We will also offer full budgeting reports, delegate trackers and a complete carbon emissions profile through our 360 Green technology platform to ensure every element of the event is seamless. There is a natural synergy between business travel and corporate events, so it was an obvious choice for us.”
