Finnair‘s first refurbished short-haul aircraft returned to service this week. The Embraer 190 departed Exeter airport with new seats and lighting to reflect the airline’s long-haul aircraft‘s recent redesign. Finnair’s latest investment will see seven of its Embraer E190 aircraft refurbished this winter, with the remainder of the fleet of 12 aircraft planned to be completed by spring 2026.

Serviced accommodation provider SilverDoor has promoted Alex Neale to Board Member and Chief Supply Officer, effective immediately. Neale has been with SilverDoor since 2009 and has held a number of account management roles, most recently as Senior Vice President Partner Relationships. In his new role he will be responsible for working with SilverDoor’s property partner network across all areas of operation including technology and health and safety.
Aircraft charter organisation Equinox Charter has appointed Garreth Horrocks as its new Aviation Safety & Compliance Manager. Horrocks joins Equinox from his previous role as Head of Safety and Standards for EU operations at OneSky, where he oversaw safety programmes across Flexjet, PrivateFly, and Sentient Jet. In his new role, Garreth will be responsible for enhancing Equinox Charter’s existing safety management protocols.
FCM Consulting has named Jason Kramer as its new Air Category Lead worldwide. Kramer brings almost 30 years of experience to the business across airlines, consulting, sales and client relationships, SaaS, and product development – all in the managed travel space. Whilst Kramer will direct FCM Consulting’s air category management and sourcing resources, he is also tasked with continuing FCM Consulting’s advancement of its product portfolio, including its proprietary Air Contracting IQ tool to bring greater transparency to clients’ air programme performance.
