Accor has made a new master franchise agreement with Sunmei Digital Intelligence Group to debut Mövenpick by Accor across China.
Together, Sunmei and Accor plan to open more than 400 Mövenpick by Accor smart technology hotels across China, representing more than 60,000 guest rooms.
Smart technology designed specifically for hotels will feature prominently, including room selection and booking; facial recognition for quick check-in and security access to guest rooms; as well as customised controls for energy-efficiency.
