Midlands-based TMC arrangeMY has acquired event management company Ellis Salsby.
The Ellis Salsby team, who were previously based in Kidderminster, will be kept on and will continue in their existing roles within arrangeMY.
Managing Director Ellis Salsby has been appointed as non-exec Director and Angela Salsby, former Operations Director, will take on a consultancy role.
“After 32 years I have made the decision to hand over the reins of the business to arrangeMY,” said Ellis Salsby.
“Having known Nick for many years, and his father Simon, I believe the two businesses will be a great fit with benefits to both the clients and the staff.
“The acquisition provides our staff with the opportunity to grow in a well-structured, sustainable business. It also gives me the opportunity to fulfil a role within the business whilst managing a retirement exit.
“They are both family run businesses and have the same ethos in terms of client satisfaction being at the heart of what we do.”
Together, the two businesses will employ in excess of 55 members of staff at a head office in Worcester.
Nick Scott, arrangeMY MD, added: “As no stranger to growing by acquisition (Hotel Focus, Gloucester Express and Frontline) we see this merger as an opportunity to bolster our offering, especially in event management and training logistics.
“We are well aware of the amazing reputation that Ellis, Angela and the team have in the industry and are excited at the prospect of them joining our team here at arrangeMY to continue the great work they do.”
