Lufthansa Group has rejoined the Business Travel Association (BTA) as a Prime Partner.
The BTA said the airline group had reluctantly allowed its membership to lapse during the pandemic with the understanding it would rejoin as soon as recovery allowed.
As part of the new partnership, Lufthansa Group will have a key role at the events that the BTA will host this year and play an integral role in the BTA’s campaigns for better business travel support.
The BTA’s members will benefit from Lufthansa’s globally efficient travel experience.
Clive Wratten, CEO of the BTA, said: “It’s great to have one of Europe’s largest airlines onboard and ready to help recover the business travel ecosystem. It is a vital time for airlines as the demand for travel grows in both business and leisure sectors, and we’re delighted to have Lufthansa engaged with us.”
Frank Wagner, General Manager UK, Ireland & Iceland at Lufthansa Group, said: “Rejoining the BTA was the natural next step for us as we look for a smooth recovery process. We’re looking forward to benefitting from the BTA’s support and expertise as traffic levels grow again.”
