There is now just over one week left to get your entries in for the 2025 Business Travel People Awards.
The entry deadline was extended last week and is now 5pm on Friday March 21.
The awards, now in their 14th year, recognise the achievements of individuals and teams in business travel whose professionalism and business excellence make them stand out from their peers.
Unlike other industry awards, they celebrate the people in the sector and not the brands, including those working in frontline or back-office functions who might not otherwise have the chance to be recognised.
Nominations can come from colleagues, managers or from the candidate themselves and are welcome from individuals and teams based in the UK or overseas.
A number of new categories have been introduced for this year, including Industry Newcomer of the Year, which is open to applicants of any age but who have only been in the business travel industry for up to three years.
Awards recognising achievements in sustainability and tech innovation now have separate categories for individuals and for teams, due to the high number of entries in previous years.
There are also two new awards for individuals and teams working in sales and marketing roles.
For the first time, the recipient of the prestigious Industry Contribution Award will be chosen by the Judging Panel and will not require a submission.
Alongside the 21 categories, a Chair’s Award will be chosen from across all of the categories by the Chair of the Judges Panel, Leigh Cowlishaw.
All nominations must be backed up with evidence, such as videos or written testimonials from clients, partners or peers, and this will account for a third of the overall score.
An awards ceremony takes place on the evening of Tuesday September 30 at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London’s Covent Garden.
