Kyte partnership widens access to low-cost airlines

Kyte and TPConnects have announced a strategic partnership enabling TPConnects to distribute low-cost content via Kyte’s application programming interface (API).

Kyte’s technology platform is designed to simplify and standardise access to airline inventories, ensuring anyone in the travel industry can access low-cost carrier (LCC) and New Distribution Capability (NDC) content through a single API.

The collaboration will enable TPConnects, an IATA-certified travel content aggregation and distribution technology company with a global footprint, to access low-cost carrier content through Kyte’s API – including from easyJet and Ryanair.

As a result, TPConnects will be able to offer a broader range of low-cost flight options with ancillaries and bundles.

The agreement means that TPConnects’ majority shareholder, Flight Centre Travel Group, will be able to access content from Ryanair and other LCCs.

“Our API will provide TPConnects with access to a variety of low-cost airlines, offering greater choice and value to their clients. This partnership highlights our commitment to making low-cost airline content easily accessible alongside NDC solutions, especially in the corporate travel market,” commentedAlice Ferrari, CEO of Kyte.

Eric Dumas, Chief Executive Officer of TPConnects Technologies, said: We look forward to working actively with Kyte’s team and to further engage into additional partnerships to facilitate the overall LCC distribution and access to key industry stakeholders, from corporate and leisure businesses.”
