A new communications and “live experiences” firm has been set up to bring “sharper messaging, stronger engagement, and more meaningful moments to organisations” across the business travel sector.
Already working with clients across the UK, Europe and the US, Kintela is also offering to help corporate travel managers strengthen internal programme communications, engage travellers and bookers, drive alignment, and tell a stronger story to their senior leadership about the value of managed travel.
The Kintela team comprises Martin Ferguson, former VP of Global Communications, Public Affairs and Events at American Express GBT, Sallyanne Heywood, a senior communications and marketing strategist with experience at HRG and Amex GBT, Karen Hutchings, former Global Head of Travel, Meetings & Events at EY, and event host and director Nigel Mead, who will lead on experience design and live delivery.
Stewart Harvey, former President EMEA of BCD Travel and Group Commercial Director at HRG, will act as a strategic advisor to Kintela and its clients.
Ferguson, who set up the group, said: “I’ve worked with each of the partners in various capacities over many years. Under the Kintela banner, it’s an opportunity bring our experience and networks together to help companies raise the bar.
“There’s a lot of demand in the industry for the services we provide. In this era, attention spans are short while expectations are high. Good communications are needed to cut through. We want to help companies show up with purpose in what they say and how they bring it to life.”
The company officially launches this week, on the eve of the 2025 Business Travel Show.
