Keynote speakers confirmed for Advantage Conference 2025

The Advantage Travel Partnership has announced that Sarah Blumenau and Mehreen Khan will join them as keynote speakers at this year’s conference, being held in Malta in May.

As Economics Editor of The Times in London, Khan has covered everything from the global economy and geopolitics to trade and central banks and will lead the opening keynote speaker session on ‘The Economic Journey – Reimagined’ sharing insights on governmental changes within the UK, Europe and the US.

She will discuss the global economic forecast and how it might affect the travel industry and its customers, and will join a panel discussion with industry leaders as well as smaller Q&A sessions with members.

In her keynote speech, Blumenau, Communication Practitioner and Ambassador for the charity ADHD UK, will promote the business case for adopting accessible travel practices and share personal stories about her own experience travelling as a neurodivergent professional.

She will offer agents suggestions about changes that are needed in the industry to ensure travel is accessible for everyone. She will also lead a ‘Presence Masterclass’ of four workshops providing actionable skills to enhance clear, confident and consistent communication.

Blumenau offers a unique perspective on workplace and leadership cultures, trends and best practices, working with international clients across all industries including Google, Apple, Amazon, The Guardian and the Financial Times.

Julia Lo Bue-Said, CEO of The Advantage Travel Partnership, said: “We’re pleased to announce that Mehreen Khan and Sarah Blumenau will be joining us at the 2025 Advantage Conference.

“This year we are looking ahead to the future, reimagining how journeys may look with the changing global social and economic landscape. The speakers will delve into strategies for navigating this changing environment and help delegates understand future opportunities.”
