Tim Nichols has joined TRIPBAM as Vice President of Air Solutions, a new role at the company. He will lead the development and rollout of TRIPBAM’s suite of technology solutions in the air category, which is expected to go live during the third quarter of 2021. Nichols joins from EY, where he served as Global Supplier Leader for Travel, Meetings and Events.
Duetto has promoted John Lingos-Webb to the newly-created role of Senior Director of Global Partnerships & Alliances. He will be responsible for enhancing existing partnerships and identifying, fostering, and entering into new partnerships for Duetto, which provides hospitality revenue software. Chris Crowley, from Nina & Pinta, joined the company as SVP of Sales in April.
CWT has restructured its leadership team following the succession of former President, Strategy & Transformation and CFO Michelle McKinney Frymire to CEO earlier in May. Global Treasurer and Deputy CFO Courtney Mattson becomes acting CFO and a member of the Executive Leadership Team, Patrick Andersen has been appointed President & Chief Commercial Officer and Niklas Andreen is now President & Chief Operating Officer.
Flying Butler Apartments has appointed Daniel Ayers Head of Sales. As part of his role, he will work in partnership with TMCs and specialist industries. He joins the Flying Butler team from Nobu Hospitality where he worked to improve the sales function for Nobu Hotel London Shoreditch. Before that he worked for Reed & Mackay, Rosewood London, Dorchester Collection, Virgin Atlantic and JW Grosvenor House, in sales leadership roles.
The Business Travel Association has appointed two new industry board partners: Adam Bennett, Manager of Corporate and TMC Sales in the UK, and Corporate, TMC and Leisure Sales in Ireland at British Airways, and Gianni Salvadori, Head of Corporate Sales for the UK, Ireland, Italy and Asia-Pacific at Melia Hotels.
