Key appointments at Talma Travel Solutions

Gemma Sparrow has been promoted to Director of Partnerships, Europe, at Talma Travel Solutions.

Sparrow has worked in the leisure and travel industry for over 20 years and prior to joining Talma spent two and a half years at Advantage Travel Partnership as Business Development Manager.

She joined Talma earlier this year as Head of Leisure, Europe, and has now been promoted to a role where she will serve as the main point of contact for Talma’s supplier partners across Europe, focusing on strengthening strategic relationships and driving mutual growth.

“Gemma’s promotion reflects the scale of our ambition across Europe to become the most trusted travel partner to our clients,” said Talma UK Chief Executive Officer Nick Bettles.

“At Talma, we are focused on building deep, long-term, trusted supplier partnerships that will make a meaningful impact on how our clients manage their travel programme. Gemma has the commercial instinct and relationship-building skills to lead this strategy across our Corporate, MICE and Leisure entities.”

Sparrow said: “Having previously led our Leisure division, I’m incredibly proud and excited to be stepping into the role of Director of Partnerships.

“I’m looking forward to strengthening our partnerships, creating new commercial opportunities, and helping take Talma to the next level while continuing to deliver exceptional experiences for our clients.”

Meanwhile, Brett Leslie has been named Chief Executive Officer of Solutions Travel, which is owned by Talma.

Leslie succeeds Mark Walton, founder and former CEO of Solutions Travel, who earlier this year was appointed President of Americas for Talma.

In his expanded role, Walton is leading Talma’s strategic growth initiatives across the region, while Leslie assumes day-to-day leadership of Solutions Travel, ensuring continuity and momentum as the company enters its next phase of expansion.

Since joining Solutions Travel as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Growth, Leslie has played a pivotal role in accelerating the company’s commercial growth.

Prior to Solutions Travel, Leslie held leadership positions at Spotnana, where he focused on large-market sales and strategic partnerships, and also spent more than a decade at Frosch, serving on the company’s executive management team.
