Jyrney has updated its booking platform for managed ground transport, introducing new features to simplify how travel management companies (TMCs), corporates and business travellers book taxis, ride-hail and chauffeur services.
The redesign includes a new booking interface, a shorter process and clearer categorisation of vehicle options. It is available across desktop and mobile and supports users accessing the platform through single sign-on via their company’s travel management system.
Flight number validation has been added to the booking process to help reduce errors when arranging airport-related journeys.
Jyrney has also introduced onward ride suggestions. When travellers enter a flight number, the platform can recommend ground transport options from the destination airport based on previous traveller activity, popular destinations and company-preferred locations such as local offices.
The company said the feature is intended to help organisations keep more ground transport bookings within company booking systems and travel policies, improving visibility and compliance.
Daniel Price, Founder and CEO, Jyrney, said: “Ground transport is often the part of a business trip where the traveller feels the most exposed: getting to the airport on time, being met after landing, moving between meetings or getting home safely.
“That is why the booking experience has to match the standard business travellers now expect from the rest of managed travel. This release makes Jyrney cleaner and easier to use, with a more concise flow, clearer vehicle choice and onward journey options that help keep more trips inside the managed programme.”
The launch follows a period of growth for the company, which said booking volumes through the platform have doubled since January.
