JetBlue is switching one of its daily New York JFK flights from London Gatwick to Heathrow from March 25.
It means the airline will still operate three daily flights between New York and London – two from Heathrow and one from Gatwick.
Heathrow flights will depart at 8.25am and 11.55am, arriving in JFK at 11.40am and 3.15pm respectively. Return flights will leave JFK at 8.30am and 9pm, arriving into Heathrow at 8.45pm and 9.30am the following day.
The remaining Gatwick flight will depart at 12pm, arriving at 3.15pm, and return from JFK at 7.30pm, arriving at 7.55am the next day.
Affected customers can change their reservations up to seven days before or after their original flight with no fees or increase in airfare
They can also switch to an alternate flight from either London Gatwick or London Heathrow.
If there is no suitable alternative, the flights can be cancelled with a refund on the original form of payment.
