James Parkhouse has joined DGI (Diversity Group International), formerly known as Diversity Travel, in the role of CEO.
He was previously CEO at Take2Eton Group, which he joined in October 2024.
Before that, he was CEO at Agiito for eight years. After leaving Agiito in April 2023, months before its sale to Clarity, Parkhouse became a Non-Executive Director of Focus Travel Partnership for a year and joined the Business Travel Association as a Board Member in April 2025.
Christopher Airey, DGI’s former Managing Director and CEO, is stepping down for personal reasons. One of DGI’s co-founders, he had been in that role since 2006.
“I am truly honoured to succeed Chris Airey as CEO of DGI,” said Parkhouse.
“Chris has built an incredible business since 2006, taking it from a start-up to one of the leading global TMCs specialising in not-for-profit travel, and while he steps back for personal reasons, I’m grateful that he will continue to support DGI as an investor and friend.
“As I join DGI, my focus will be on listening, learning, and understanding our people, systems, and customers, building on the strong foundation Chris and his team have created.

Founded in 2008, DGI rebranded to DGI last October to reflect its international growth across the US and European markets, acquiring high-profile new clients, including World Learning and KU Leuven.
