Voco tells event bookers to ‘Meet On Us’

IHG has launched a ‘Meet On Us’ campaign designed to drive groups and meetings business across its year-old voco hotels brand.
Aimed at occasional meeting planners, those booking more than ten guest rooms per night at any Voco hotel will be offered a complimentary meeting room.
The promotion applies to all bookings made before 1st February 2020 for group stays, meetings or events taking place before 31st December 2020.
“With our ‘Meet On Us’ campaign we are providing guests with access to inviting and unstuffy spaces, be it for informal catch-ups, meetings, social gatherings or celebrations,” says Will Yell, Head of voco EMEAA.
“Meeting planners can rely on our dedicated meeting hosts to manage everything end-to-end, all in the thoughtful, unstuﬀy and relaxed manner that’s synonymous with the voco brand.”
The campaign comes as IHG has set its sights on opening more than 200 voco hotels over the coming 10 years.
Since launching a year ago, IHG has opened voco properties in Cardiff, Solihull and Oxford, as well as two in Australia (Gold Coast and Hunter Valley) and two in the Middle East (Riyadh and Dubai).
