Travel stimulates the millennial mind

Business travel has the potential to stimulate creativity and productivity, especially among millennials, says travel management company CWT in a new report.
Six in ten travellers said they feel more creative and productive when travelling on business, although the figure was closer to five in ten among European business travellers.
Millennials are more likely to express the sentiment, with the figure rising to 77% in the Americas and 75% in Asia-Pacific, but only 58% in Europe.
“We are proud to be in a business that helps bring out the best in people,” says Niklas Andreen, Executive VP and Chief Traveler Experience Officer at CWT.
“These findings are not a surprise – travel energises people, fosters fresh thinking, creates connections – and nothing beats a face-to-face meeting.”
The research also shows that six in ten travellers feel most productive when working face-to-face and collaborating with colleagues as opposed to working alone (30%) or remotely (14%).
More than 2,700 business travellers were surveyed by CWT and Artemis Strategy Group.
