The Melia Kensington hotel in London has now fully opened following a soft launch in December.

Located on Gloucester Road, the boutique hotel underwent a complete refurbishment and rebrand with interiors inspired by the wallpaper designs of William Morris.

Its 76 guestrooms feature complimentary minibars, luxurious linens, flatscreen TVs and laptop-sized safes.

Room categories include single rooms (11m2), superior twins (16m2), deluxe rooms (16m2), premium kings (21m2), family rooms (23m2), junior suites (26m2) and suites (37m2).

Hotel facilities include a business centre, three meeting rooms with capacity for up to 150 people and a gym.

The hotel’s restaurant and bar, SW7, serves Mediterranean and British cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Rates start from £190 per night.

The Spanish Melia Hotels group operates more than 350 hotels in 40 countries across a number of brands including Gran Melia, Me by Melia and Innside.
