Hilton is set to open its first European concept hotel – Tempo by Hilton Belfast City Centre – capitalising on Northern Ireland’s rich heritage and rapidly growing international appeal.
Set to open towards the end of 2026 and one of three properties to open in Northern Ireland, the lifestyle hotel will place wellbeing at its core, with 144 rooms designed for the modern traveller.
The hotel will offer wellbeing-focused amenities including ‘Power Down’ in partnership with the Calm app and a fully equipped fitness centre, balanced food and drink offering and guest rooms featuring naturally derived Origins bathroom amenities and a ‘Get Ready Zone’.
Guests can benefit from ‘Hilton Honors’, with members who book directly with Hilton earning points for hotel stays and experiences alongside instant rewards.
Situated close to the Cathedral Quarter and Belfast City Hall, Tempo by Hilton Belfast City Centre offers easy access to the city’s top attractions, as well as convenient transport links to George Best City Airport and Belfast International Airport.
The hotel, which is expected to be the brand’s first hotel to open outside of the US, joins a global portfolio of 56 hotels. Further openings are planned for 2025 in San Diego, Nashville and Tennessee.
The deal is part of a franchise agreement with Loughview Leisure Group and marks the brand’s international debut, following a successful launch in the US.
Nick Smart, Vice President – Development UK and Ireland at Hilton, said: “We’re committed to ensuring that every traveller has access to a high-quality hotel to suit their needs – from business travellers and locals who want to explore what’s on their doorstep, to adventurous global visitors looking to experience everything this country has to offer.
“This latest brand entry is a significant milestone, and we’re delighted to work with partners like Loughview Leisure Group who bring a wealth of local experience and share our commitment to providing exceptional accommodation to suit every traveller.”
