The collaboration is aimed at supporting the work of Women in Travel by encouraging GTMC’s TMC members to access services such as the Women Returners scheme, that helps marginalised women find suitable travel training and employment.
The organisation also assists women in the travel industry with career training and development, female leadership skills, work coaching and mentoring, alongside hosting conferences and workshops focused on empowering women to engage with the sector.
GTMC’s Chief Executive, Adrian Parkes, commented: “Our members are among the fastest growing employers in the UK and internationally. Talent is hard to come by and businesses are acutely aware of their need to become both more creative and inclusive about the way they recruit.”
“Women in Travel’s services tap into talent currently below the radar and provide an innovative and socially minded way to meet our members’ requirements,” he added.
