The trade association for travel management companies is encouraging entries from businesses that are offering new technology, innovative solutions in the business travel sector and products and services that will benefit TMCs, travel buyers or business travellers.
It is free to enter and entries close on April 12.
A panel of industry experts will whittle down entries to a shortlist of five who will pitch to delegates at the GTMC’s Overseas Conference in the Netherlands this June.
Delay repay business Railguard was the recipient of the inaugural award in 2018, with its CEO, Matt Freckelton, since declaring the title “truly transformational” for the business.
Adrian Parkes, GTMC CEO, says: “We introduced the GTMC Entrepreneurs in Business Travel Award last year as a way to celebrate some of the incredible, innovative work going into new products and services that benefit our flourishing sector.
“We’re passionate about nurturing entrepreneurial talent and bringing ground-breaking enhancements to the corporate travel industry. All five of the 2018 finalists have seen tangible results since taking part so we’re excited to see what this year’s award holds.”
This year’s winner will be granted access to the GTMC’s partnership programme for 12 months, offering them exposure to, and support from, TMC members and industry suppliers.
