The Ginger Pig boutique hotel in Hove, East Sussex, has added three self-catering mews houses.

Created from the original stable block, the mews houses are behind electric security gates and have air-conditioning, hand-picked furniture, luxury Royal Warrant Hypnos mattresses, high thread count linen, luxury Cowshed toiletries, bathrobes and modern art by renowned artist Victoria Topping.

There are two houses with two bedrooms and one with three bedrooms. Each has a private patio with a coffee table and chairs.

The two-bedroom mews houses cost £300 per night midweek and £390 at weekends. The three-bedroom mews is £350 midweek and £465 at weekends. Pets are welcome for an additional fee.

The mews houses are the latest addition to the 11-bedroom boutique property above the highly-acclaimed Ginger Pig Bar and Restaurant.

The restaurant has a private dining room for events or the restaurant can be hired exclusively.

All-day parking is on the next street at Princes Crescent, for £7.60.
