Focus Travel Partnership has appointed TripStax as its preferred partner for data analytics.
The decision followed a “thorough RFP process” which was took place after Focus set up a Data Working Party in May 2022.
The consortium for 51 independent SME TMCs will use TripStax’s proprietary reporting and analytics solution, powered by The Core, a central data processing engine.
The technology will help Focus understand the buying patterns, revenues and booking trends of its partners in order to negotiate commercial supplier deals and deliver an extensive air fare programme.
It also means Focus can create self-service dashboards, for example analysing the total cost of trip by expense type, purpose, region and individual traveller.
