Flybe’s Isle of Man services take off

Flybe has launched a new daily service between London Heathrow and the Isle of Man - the first such service for almost 20 years.

The daily flights from Flybe’s newly-reopened base on the Isle of Man take around one hour and twenty minutes and are scheduled to depart at 13:50, landing at Heathrow at 15:10. The return trip takes off at 17:05, arriving in the Isle of Man at 18:25.

The new flights will allow customers travelling to and from the Isle of Man to connect with numerous international flights from Heathrow airport.

Ann Reynolds, the Isle of Man’s Director of Airports, says: “The Isle of Man is an award-winning international business centre with a dynamic and expanding digital economy and a popular tourist destination.

“The new daily Heathrow service by Flybe from the island has really opened up the opportunity for visitors to come to the island whilst opening up worldwide destinations for both leisure and business for island residents.”

Flybe recently announced it will cease all jet operations from October and reduce operations at several bases.
