Enterprise has opened a new flagship vehicle rental site and technology hub in Sheepscar, Leeds.
It will be the company’s largest rental site in the UK as well as a hub for the company’s burgeoning technology operations.
Enterprise has invested around £1.8m in the new site, which replaces a smaller branch on North Street.
It enables the company to offer a larger number and range of vehicles, including many new specialised commercial vehicles to support businesses in the region.
The move was prompted by significant growth in demand for rental vehicles from consumers and businesses in Leeds.
Extra capacity electric vehicle (EV) chargers are due to be installed on the site to meet growing demand for more sustainable vehicles.
Alongside the rental operation, the new site will be the headquarters for Entegral, the technology arm of Enterprise Holdings.
The majority of its 55 employees will be based out of the new building to work on the company’s suite of motor claims and vehicle repair software.
Entegral will be recruiting software developers as well as business support staff as the company continues to grow.
Enterprise is also currently recruiting for 15 graduate Management Trainee positions in Leeds, Sheffield and Hull.
