The Business Travel Magazine team was recognised at the Business Travel Journalism Awards (BTJAs) ceremony last night, walking away with two awards.
Editor Bev Fearis won Features Writer of the Year – Technology for her article exploring whether online booking tools will ever match consumer expectations, while the wider team was named Editorial Team of the Year. The judges praised the magazine’s “unique features, excellent design and superbly written copy”.
“It’s such an honour to win the team award, especially when we were up against consumer and trade titles from all over the world,” said Bev.
“This award recognises the hard work and dedication of the whole editorial team – the writers, designers, production, technical support – who help bring our editorial content to life and make sure it remains relevant, insightful and engaging.”
This year’s BTJA winners were revealed at a black-tie ceremony held at the Tower of London on November 29 2023. This year marked the 20th edition of the awards that recognise exceptional journalists and editors from national, consumer, broadcast, and trade media worldwide.
“We are always looking at ways to improve our content and have some exciting things planned for 2024 which we can’t wait to share with the business travel community,” added Bev.
