Diversity Travel rebrands to reflect global growth

Diversity Travel has rebranded to DGI (Diversity Group International) to position itself as a global player.

Marking a “new chapter in its journey”, the TMC said the rebrand comes at a pivotal time as it sees growth across the US and European markets, acquiring high-profile new clients, including World Learning and KU Leuven.

The process, which took three months, involved a full website redesign, updated visual identity and a sharper brand positioning strategy to reflect the company’s global reach.

Founded in 2008, Diversity has stablished itself as a global leader in the academic, humanitarian and not-for-profit travel management sectors.

Over the past two years, it has focused efforts on its people, technology and processes, supported by a significant strategic investment, enabling accelerated global expansion.

Christopher Airey, Managing Director, CEO of DGI, said: “Our new identity represents more than just a name change; it reflects our position as a true global business. The original values from launch remain at our core, but with a sharper outlook.

“DGI stands for the Diversity Group International, representing both our roots and our global reach. Our tagline, ‘the non-profit and academic travel experts’, makes our purpose instantly recognisable.”

DGI said it has been embedding AI-driven efficiencies, building tailored digital tools and hiring talent to enhance user experiences and drive down costs to customers.

Alongside tech innovation, sustainability also remains central to DGI’s ongoing strategy. Guided by customer feedback, it has expanded its Green Travel Toolkit, offering a carbon offsetting button, ‘Flight to Rail Switching’ and ‘Hotel Sustainability Index’ to help organisations meet their environmental goals cost-effectively.

“This rebrand is not just about how we look, it’s about our commitment to service delivery,” said Airey.

“By investing in our people, strengthening our processes and utilising new technology, we’re ensuring we can make a real difference to the organisations we serve.”

DGI continues to support a roster of clients, including Wellcome Trust and The British Red Cross.
