Direct Travel has announced the expansion of its global travel platform, Avenir, into its speciality market divisions, including the energy, marine and mining sectors.
Delivered through ATPI’s specialist businesses, the platform introduces a unified service model designed to streamline business travel within industries that are known for being logistically complex.
Avenir will focus on executive, commercial and project-based travel, providing a consistent global infrastructure for leadership and technical teams.
This new layer complements ATPI’s existing workforce mobility solutions, which will continue to manage crew rotations, offshore travel and logistics for remote destinations using specialised technology such as Crewhub and Crewlink.

The move aims to reduce the fragmentation often found in specialty sectors where regional systems are used for business travel.
By consolidating these onto a single platform, organisations can better gain centralised visibility and governance for travel and finance departments. The system allows for standardised global policies with controlled local flexibility, intended to improve efficiency and provide a uniform experience for employees worldwide.
The expansion covers ATPI’s long-standing work in the energy sector, its maritime crew movement services, and its tailored fly-in-fly-out management for the mining industry.
