Delta resumes Tel Aviv service

Delta has resumed its nonstop daily service to Tel Aviv from New York.

The route, which is operated by an Airbus A330-900neo, was temporarily suspended last year following an “extensive security risk assessment” by the airline after the Hamas attacks in Isreal.

Delta’s resumed service from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to Ben Gurion Airport (TLV) will provide nearly 2,000 weekly seats from New York to Israel.

The airline continues to “monitor the situation in Israel in conjunction with government and private-sector partners”.

A codeshare agreement was launched between Delta and EL AL Israel Airlines last year, offering access to major US cities such as New York-Newark, Los Angeles and Miami.
