Delta Air Lines has begun a daily nonstop flight from London Heathrow to Los Angeles International Airport.
It is the first time it has operated the nonstop service since 2015.
Los Angeles is a key hub for Delta on the west coast with more than 140 daily flights, providing seamless connections to popular destinations including Hawaii, Las Vegas, Portland and more.
The route is one of eight daily nonstop flights the airline will offer from Heathrow to the US this summer.
It complements trans-Atlantic partner Virgin Atlantic’s existing three daily services from Heathrow.
Delta’s Los Angeles flight departs Heathrow at 16:20, arriving into LAX at 19:50. Return flights are scheduled to leave Los Angeles at 20:25 and arrive into Heathrow at 14:50.
The route will be operated by Delta’s A330-900neo with all four Delta cabin experiences, including the award-winning Delta One Suites and superior international cabin, Delta Premium Select.
