CT Travel Group merges with Good Travel Management

CT Travel Group (CTTG) and Good Travel Management have merged after John Good Group took a majority stake in CTTG.

CTTG and GTM, which acquired Wexas’ corporate travel business in 2023, will join forces to form a new company with a combined turnover of £85 million.

Founded by Mark Kempster in 1988, CTTG comprises CT Business Travel, CT Groups Conferences and Incentives, CT Trade Missions and Pettitts Travel.

Kempster will stay on as a shareholder, alongside his brother and business partner Tom Kempster and Clare Collins, CCTG Chief Operating Officer. CTTG Financial Director David Bevan is exiting the business.

GTM’s Kevin Harrison and Ben Norman will also be on the new group’s Board of Directors.

“We see a great opportunity to grow our combined position in the market and share values around our people,” said Mark Kempster.

“Combining GTM and CTTG creates a comprehensive global offering for existing and prospective clients seeking genuine, serviced-focused travel expertise.

“This will accelerate growth opportunities, expand the range of services available to clients, and combine expertise in tech, service and industry knowledge.”

The newly-merged business will have office locations in London, Kent and Yorkshire and will continue to invest in its remote and hybrid teams.

“This is something we are looking to enhance as we move forward with GTM,” said Collins.

The deal comes hot on the heels of the acquisition of Blue Cube Travel by Talma Travel Solutions, which also bought Norad Travel Group in 2022.
