Over four out of five managers (82%) say ABTA membership is important or very important when sourcing a TMC and 95% of business owners took the same view.
The organisation, which advises, protects and lobbies on behalf of its travel industry members, currently represents over 200 organisations whose principal activity is the management of business travel.
ABTA says clients of its TMC members can ‘book with confidence’ knowing that the agency has passed its financial tests and follows ABTA’s Code of Conduct.
Members also have access to operational crisis support and alerts about incidents likely to impact travel.
“As well as the strong association with ABTA’s brand, TMCs benefit from a wide range of ABTA’s services and expertise – including our insight and expertise around Brexit preparedness,” says Victoria Bacon, Director of Brand and Business Development at ABTA.
“With just weeks to go before the UK is due to leave the EU, we are supporting all of our members to help them be ready for any eventuality. We also continue to lobby the EU and UK Government to urge a sensible, pragmatic, solution which delivers for the industry, business travellers and holidaymakers.”
