Reed & Mackay has partnered with Clarasight to give its clients actionable insights on how to reduce emissions, drive cost savings and improve efficiency.
The TMC, which two years ago fully integrated its CO2 reporting into its proprietary technology platform through a collaboration with SQUAKE, says this latest partnership will give its clients the chance to leverage that granular data and take action.
Squake continues to be Reed & Mackay’s technology partner, providing it with the granular data that feeds the collaboration with Clarasight.
Clarasight’s carbon planning and intelligence platform for business travel provides organisations with CO2 emissions reporting with purpose-built software that provides forecasting, planning, management and budgeting.
As part of the collaboration, Reed & Mackay and Clarasight are launching a travel and emissions benchmarking solution which enables clients to benchmark their travel (i.e. activity, spend and emissions) against their peers and industry.
“Many of our clients are focused on ways to drive emissions reduction further into their travel programmes. Simply tracking emissions is no longer enough – there needs to be coherent and achievable activity to back this up, and this is where the Clarasight platform can really add significant value,” said Reed & Mackay’s Global Sustainability Director, Chris Truss.
“This is an exciting collaboration because it allows us to leverage our existing CO2 data and reporting capabilities to provide a platform for our customers with access to highly strategic guidance for more enhanced, forward-looking sustainable travel programmes.”
Reed & Mackay and Clarasight will also use their combined datasets to publish analyses and thought leadership pieces to the wider industry. The first of these is due to be released in March.
“Carbon emissions planning in business travel is no longer a ‘nice to have,’ it’s a strategic imperative,” said Clarasight’s CEO & Co-Founder, Adam Braun.
