Cathay Pacific to resume Australia route

Cathay Pacific will resume its direct seasonal service to Cairns, Australia, from December 17 2024 to March 29 2025.

It will operate three return flights per week with its two-class Airbus A330 aircraft.

This new service will provide more connections for customers travelling between Hong Kong, the Chinese Mainland and Australia.

By December, Cathay Pacific will be operating 73 return flights per week to five destinations in Australia – Brisbane, Cairns, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.

Earlier this year Cathay Pacific added Chennai, Colombo and Barcelona to its global network and Riyadh launches on October 28.

Meanwhile, HK Express has added Beijing (Daxing), Bangkok (Don Mueang), Sanya and Clark to its network this year.
