Cathay Pacific has “deepened its commitment” to NDC by announcing plans to offer a range of content on the Amadeus Travel Platform.
The roll-out will start in early 2022 in selected markets and then gradually expand globally.
Cathay’s new NDC offers will include content such as seat selection, fare families, and special fares, plus critical functionalities such as ticketing exchange and refunds.
The announcement builds on Cathay’s existing distribution strategy underpinned by the its use of Amadeus Altéa NDC.

In addition, Amadeus’ flagship solution for corporations, Amadeus cytric Travel & Expense, will be able to process Cathay’s bookings via NDC in 2022.
