Perfect for a short stay in Birmingham for those that want to be self-sufficient. Staff were friendly and helpful and made you feel very welcome upon arrival. The location is within easy access of some of Birmingham’s main attractions.

Just three blocks south of the National Mall and a few minutes’ walk from L’Enfant Plaza and other downtown business areas, this is an excellent alternative to the many hotels in the Penn Quarter and Du Pont Circle areas.

The Grosvenor Arms is a delightful historic hotel in a lovely market town setting. It exudes a homely atmosphere with rustic but stylish decor and its facilities belie its small size.

This ideally situated and ultra-comfortable hotel has classy staff who go out of their way to preserve the hotel’s reputation for courteous service. It is also reasonably priced throughout – for example, $13 for a cocktail in one of Boston’s top hotels is almost a steal.

The apartment was surprisingly spacious and I liked the understated style. With the onsite facilities, the Locke brand seems to have mastered the aparthotel model.
