Cheval Three Quays, London

While it's easy to dwell on the views that Three Quays' River View apartments command – which make this a top choice for those looking to wow executives visiting from overseas – it should be noted that this property comfortably fulfils its 'luxury residence' billing with well-equipped and tastefully decorated apartments and good service too.

Staycity Aparthotels, Birmingham

Perfect for a short stay in Birmingham for those that want to be self-sufficient. Staff were friendly and helpful and made you feel very welcome upon arrival. The location is within easy access of some of Birmingham’s main attractions.

Hyatt House, Washington DC, USA

Just three blocks south of the National Mall and a few minutes’ walk from L’Enfant Plaza and other downtown business areas, this is an excellent alternative to the many hotels in the Penn Quarter and Du Pont Circle areas.

The Grosvenor Arms, Shaftesbury, Dorset

The Grosvenor Arms is a delightful historic hotel in a lovely market town setting. It exudes a homely atmosphere with rustic but stylish decor and its facilities belie its small size.

The Lenox, Boston

This ideally situated and ultra-comfortable hotel has classy staff who go out of their way to preserve the hotel’s reputation for courteous service. It is also reasonably priced throughout – for example, $13 for a cocktail in one of Boston’s top hotels is almost a steal.

Leman Locke, London

The apartment was surprisingly spacious and I liked the understated style. With the onsite facilities, the Locke brand seems to have mastered the aparthotel model.
