Four Seasons, Hampshire

It doesn't get much more quintessentially English than this, with the long drive through the grounds and staff on the door dressed in country attire setting the tone from the start. A great country escape for impressive meetings and events, and the app is a useful addition too.

Citizenm Amstel, Amsterdam

A brilliant and affordable alternative to more traditional hotels, this is a relaxing bolthole for a business trip with a convenient location for exploring Amsterdam’s charming canal belt.

Amman Marriott, Amman, Jordan

This trusty Marriott offers a reliable and comfortable retreat that’s well located for all the key spots in this thriving, inviting city.

Live! By Loews Arlington, Texas

Itʼs an interesting new concept from Loews, with an appealing design and excellent location for leisure and business guests alike. Its proximity to DFW airport is a real boon and is already helping deliver ‘excellent’ meetings and events bookings. The staff were fantastic throughout and full of enthusiasm for this flagship property.

Staybridge Suites, Manchester

Everything ticks over very smoothly at the hotel and staff were warm and welcoming, which creates a nice atmosphere; add excellent business facilities and it’s a good place to stay. It is worth asking for a corner room to take full advantage of the views.

Dakota, Manchester

It’s a clear contender for best boutique hotel in Manchester. Even though it’s a tad more pricey than other properties in the area, I would choose to stay here again.

Westin Las Vegas

This is a good business hotel on the fringe of the glamour that permeates the Las Vegas strip. It’s close enough to the action for those who seek it and at the same time a refuge for those who don’t!

Ockenden Manor, Sussex

The modern spa building and guestrooms could hardly be more different to those of the main building but the contrast doesn’t jar one bit. The dining was good and the youthful staff did a grand job.

Leicester Marriott

This is a great business and conference centre that suited me equally well for leisure needs. I was thoroughly impressed at every turn. The only minor fly in the ointment is the parking.

Point A, London Liverpool Street

The hotel is in a good location for business in the City and connections elsewhere in the capital. Tucked away on a quiet street, it is a good budget refuge with fairly basic but attractive guestrooms – and some great rates for advance bookings.
