Capita Travel and Events and its sister company, NYS, have unveiled a new brand to better reflect their businesses.
They say the new single brand, Agiito, unites the two companies as one UK specialist, managing travel, meetings and events – virtual, hybrid or live – that also works on a global scale.
“Over the years our people, culture, products, services and propositions have evolved to represent far more than a traditional travel management company,” said CEO James Parkhouse.
“The shared global experience of the pandemic has taught us the importance of adapting to the changing needs of our customers, partners and the industry, and has accelerated us towards our vision to be a business that connects people – whether in-person or virtually.”
Neal Poole, Director of Marketing, added: “As we have evolved, our brands began to detract from our personality and culture of our people. We have created a new name, a new brand and a creative identity that envelops the heart of our business – our people.”
The business will remain part of the Capita group, which has already indicated its intention to dispose of its travel and events arm, which employs around 400 people.
In a Q&A with The Business Travel Magazine, Parkhouse said having a standalone entity would help facilitate a sale. He also explained the significance of the new name and outlined the company’s new brand values.
