The Institute of Travel Management (ITM) is calling on travel buyers and suppliers to take part in its latest Priorities Survey, designed to capture a clear, data-led view of what’s trending across the industry and what priorities are shaping the year ahead.
By gathering perspectives from across the community, the survey helps to identify emerging challenges, opportunities and areas of alignment.
The annual survey has been expanded in recent years to include suppliers, bringing an additional layer of insight and balance to the findings.
ITM CEO Scott Davies said surveying both buyers and suppliers ensures the insights reflect the full industry ecosystem.
“Buyers provide direct insight into priorities, pressures and decision-making, while suppliers offer a complementary perspective on market shifts, innovation and delivery challenges,” he said.
“Bringing both viewpoints together creates a more balanced, realistic picture of where the industry is heading and where expectations align or diverge.”
Each year’s results build on previous editions, allowing trends to be compared year-on-year rather than viewed in isolation.
The aggregated results sit at the heart of ITM Trending, shaping the agenda, sessions and live discussions at the event which takes place on February 12 in London.
The findings are also shared as a dedicated ITM resource for the wider community, supporting planning, strategy and decision-making throughout the year and help inform ITM’s wider work, ensuring activity, content and initiatives remain aligned with real industry needs.
“The results of our annual Priorities Survey provide a valuable barometer of the trends shaping business travel and the challenges travel managers will face in the year ahead,” added Davies.
‘Every response matters, each one adds depth, balance and real-world perspective. It’s this richness of insight that creates results our entire community can trust and use with confidence.”
