Business Travel Lunch Forum and Workshop with Blacklane

The importance of shifting business travel from a cost centre to a profit centre was one of the key topics debated the Business Travel Lunch Forum and Workshop with partner Blacklane on February 13.

The chauffeur specialist brought a vehicle along to the venue, The Caledonian Club in London’s Belgravia, to give guests the chance to experience its premium service.

The event brought together key travel buyers, TMC leaders and key representatives from Blacklane for networking and to discuss how to look beyond price and recognise the true value of chauffeur drive and transfers for improved traveller productivity, wellbeing and safety.

To set the scene, Bev Fearis, Editor of The Business Travel Magazine, held a fireside chat with Blacklane General Manager James Dow about the company’s latest developments, its recent survey on lost productivity, the increasing focus on managing ground transport spend and how Blacklane is looking to drive that further.

Each table then enjoyed a three-course lunch while discussing some of the key challenges and potential solutions relating to managing ground transport.
